Luanne Perez is the first personal trainer to take the spotlight! A woman of determination, she always strives to be the best at everything she does. She works hard for her daughter and serves as motivation for her clients. Find out why she should be your #fitspiration too!

From Miami, Florida, Luanne started her career as a personal trainer way back in 2015. To her followers, she is known as @bodybylulu, who posts workout routines and daily snaps on her Instagram account. But just like most of us, she loves travelling because she gets to meet new people and discover new places, as well as food. We are wondering how she manages to be both a successful personal trainer and a mom! Of course everyone needs inspiration, and for Luanne, it is her two-year-old daughter. Taking care of a little angel is certainly not an excuse, but the reason to further pursue her passion for fitness and wellness.

What made Luanne decide to get serious with fitness and turn it into a profession is really inspiring. She became a personal trainer because she wanted to help and motivate others, in a way that would not only change their health and wellness, but most importantly, change the way they felt about themselves emotionally. Through her social media accounts, she continues to inspire other women to seek self-improvement and to strive to be the best that they can be.

As a trainer, she specializes in high intensity interval training (HIIT). It is a combination of bodyweight/lightweight training, which involves high repetition movements with little to no rest. Her fitness goals are to maintain a low body fat percentage and learn new movements and exercises daily that will improve her workout routine. She loves working with new clients, because it creates new challenges for her, and at the same time becomes an avenue for her to learn more. Luanne says that every time she receives a call or message from one of her clients who is ecstatic about fitting into their old clothes, it makes her day. Ultimately, her greatest achievement is having a tribe of women who are all fit physically and emotionally, and who are confident about themselves.

As a Belus Warrior, the Belus mini loop bands and resistance tube bands are among her favorites. She uses them with her clients in almost everything! Luanne says the bands allow her trainees to create upper body, lower body, total body, core and cardio exercises—wow, that’s a lot! What is her top tip to all the fitness junkies out there? Simple, “Work out because you love your body, not because you hate it!”

Until our next feature, stay tuned to get more inspiration from our personal trainers.
